As Dostoevsky said, ‘beauty will save the world’, and he was right: beauty is extraordinary, it is like a medicine that cures, that helps us to feel better, and live better.
This is why BrianzAcque has been the main sponsor of "Ville Aperte" for years, an initiative promoted by the Province of Monza and Brianza: the aim is to offer an innovative format for the enhancement of the area and the recovery of its identity by the community, with the extraordinary simultaneous opening of more than one hundred cultural assets and through new ways of enjoying them:guided tours and events designed and created especially in places of culture in collaboration with cultural associations operating in the territory of Brianza.
For the first time during the 18th edition of the event, which took place in September 2020, BrianzAcque included well 2 of Lissone inherited from the ASML, the former company of the municipality of Lissone among the assets that can be visited free of charge.A winning bet thanks to which young and old alike discovered and rediscovered an important and curious page of local history: a hydraulic engineering artefact that was a sold-out event with full bookings and visits.
The BrianzAcque technicians and university students acted as tour guides during the guided tours, which took place under the conditions required both by the location (a well) and by the anti-Covid regulations on gatherings and social distancing.
